My friend (was my ex-boyfriend) broke up with me to date someone else... he took his own life last January, and i never got to say goodbye. It pains me thay i lost him.. no matter how much i loved him.. he chose a girl who was an abusive person.

People call me crazy cause i can't act normally, i stop talking i stop smiling, i can't cry on a death, i can't be happy even though people say the world is full of happiness My family has given on me, they make jokes about my me, I don't what they think of me now but i am not one of them now. I don't get invited to any parties, to any weddings, to any get togethers cause they believe i will act out in a crazy way and humiliate them in public. I have always reassured myself that it is okay i don't like people and all but it hurts to not be treated as a human. I can spend my entire life trying to be better but i know that i will never be able to become a human, to be happy and to smile. This song is so many feelings ... the way I felt in my hrief after My Mom, and ines who followed,...when going thru a hard time with my son due to mental health issues, me fighting a near death Covid illness in Dec into Jan of 2022...and I just appreciate the words, and the emotions that were put to pen and paper.that created this song.

Thank God I found this song and this group of ppl..

I guess as humans we are complex and not one-sided. We can always choose to control how we act but at times we do things that are shitty and don't admit it because we want that cover-up and the power to not be weak. This is not universal but true for characters like Bryce because he is not good but he is not evil. He's a pure shitty person and deserved every bit of hate he gets but at the end of the day he did own up to his mistakes. There will never be any defending point against him but there will be times we see when he could have avoided everything he did.

Currently going through my second real heartbreak of my life relationship wise, and when I say this song crushed me 100× harder after this one I mean, I can't imagine ever being truly happy with anyone else ever.
